The Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 24, 1936
Henry Cornick Wright, aged 84, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 4 
o’clock after a long illness. He was the son of the late Dr. James P. and Mrs. 
Susan Cornick Wright. He was a native of Princess Anne County, and had been a 
resident of Norfolk practically all his life. Surviving are two daughter, Mrs. 
V.A. Vail, of Roanoke,  and Mrs. H.B. Mayo, of Richmond; one son, Walter A. 
Wright, of Norfolk; a half-sister, Mrs. Mart T. Tebault, of Cape Henry; five 
grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the 
funeral home of James V. Derry. 346 West Princess Anne Road. The Rev. George T. 
Tarrell, Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
