Wright, agent of the Merchants' and Miners' Transportation Co. The grief stricken parents have the sympathy of the entire community. --------------- The Norfolk Virginian Friday, June 7, 1895 Richard H. Wright, Jr., the 9-year-old son of Mr. Richard H. Wright, of the Merchants' and Miners' Transportation Company, died very suddenly Wednesday night, mention of which was made yesterday. He was in good health and spirits and went to bed Wednesday night apparently all right, but soon after retiring he complained of feeling badly. He grew rapidly worse and in four hours died, death ensuing from congestion of the brain. He was a bright, promising boy. He was the eldest son of his parents and his sudden death comes to them with crushing force. They have in their deep bereavment the warm sympathy of their many friends. The funeral will take place at 6:30 p.m. this evening from the parents residence on College Place. --------------- Additional Comments: Elmwood File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/norfolkcity/obits/w/wright8085gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/vafiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
