Norfolk Journal and Guide Saturday March 19,1960
William M. Wyatt Sr., shop steward for Teamsters Union 822 and an active
churchman, died March 12 at his residence, 283 Filbert street.  Mr. Wyatt, a
native of Norfolk, was employed the last 14 years by Atley Express Company.  He
was a member, steward, trustee and Sunday school teacher at New Mount Zion AME
Church, Bollingbrook.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lilly B. Wyatt;  wife, Mrs. Daisy Wyatt; 
four sons, William of Norfolk, Rufus of Brooklyn, NY, Ernest of Jacksonville,
NC, and Capt. James C. Wyatt, USA, Eatontown NJ;  and one sister, Miss J. C.
Wyatt of Norfolk.

Funeral services will be held at New Mount Zion AME Church, Saturday, March 19,
at 1 p.m., with the Rev. H. L. Camper officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery, Graves Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
