Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, July 29, 1990 
Mary F. Wynn, of the 2700 block of Grandy Ave., a retired companion after nine
years, died July 27, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Wynn, a native of Camden County, N.C., was a member of Mount Herman
Disciples Church and the widow of Herbert Wynn.

Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Cuffee, Mary Uzzle and Icelean
Brothers, all of Norfolk; six sons, George Wynn, Herbert Wynn and Elliott Wynn,
all of Norfolk, and Joseph Wynn, James Wynn and Robert Wynn, all of New York
City; two brothers, Joe Shambree and John Shambree, both of North Carolina; 54
grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Antioch Baptist Church by the
Rev. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be
taken to the church at 11 a.m. A wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
