Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, December 12, 1996 
Horace S. Wynn, 47, of the 2400 block of Salem Road, died Dec. 9, 1996, in
Roanoke Rapids, N.C.

He was a truck driver for Virtexco Corp. and was a native of Princess Anne
County. He was also a Baptist.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheryl Mitchell of Norfolk; two sons, Brent
Tabron and Sherrod Mitchell, both of Norfolk; parents, Alice Wynn and George
Wynn Sr., both of Norfolk; five sisters, Cynthia Graves of Hampton, Deborah
Chestnut of Virginia Beach, Carolyn Garry, Kathy Simmons, Yvonne Batts, all of
Norfolk; four brothers, Raymond Wynn, Ronnie Brown, Timothy Wynn, all of
Norfolk, and George Wynn Jr. of Virginia Beach; a grandchild, Tanika Tabron;
eight uncles, Robert Wynn, Josephus Wynn, James Wynn, all of Bronx, N.Y.,
Herbert Wynn, Elliott Wynn, both of Norfolk, Ervin Askew of Chesapeake, Charles
Askew and Melvin Askew, both of Portsmouth; three aunts, Margaret Cuffee, Mary
Uzzle and Icelean Brothers, all of Norfolk; and a host of friends and relatives.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Antioch Missionary Baptist
Church, Norfolk, by Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge. The family and friends will assemble at
2913 Earlscourt Ave., Norfolk, at 1 p.m. Friday for the funeral procession to
the church.
