Yahn, 38, was found dead yesterday morning on the floor of the bathroom at his residence, 89 Portview Avenue, Ocean View. Detective Leon Nowitzky, coroner's investigator, said in his official report that the death was a suicide and that an inquest will be held. A member of the family found the body, which was draped in a blanket, and illuminating gas was escaping from a gas heater in the room. A native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, Mr. Yahn was the son of Henry and the late Mrs. Grace Estelle Miller Yahn. He had been emplooyed by the Norfolk & Western Railway 15 years. Besides his father, he is survived by two sisters, the Misses Evelyn and Esther Yahn, and three brothers, Frederick, Charles and John Yahn, all of Norfolk. Services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with The Rev. Martin Quinn, of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
