Anthony F. "Tony" Yanez, 53, of the 400 block of Dundaff St., died Dec. 9, 1993, 
in his residence.

Mr. Yanez, a native of Norfolk, was the son of the late Jose and Mary Yanez. He 
attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Yanez Bryan of Virginia Beach; two brothers, 
Joseph R. "Pepe" Yanez and John J. Yanez, both of Norfolk; his aunt, Sara Rano 
Morris, and uncle, Frankie Rano, both of Norfolk; and nieces and nephews, Alicia 
B. Yanez, Tiffany Yanez, Hunter Yanez, Theresa Bryan, Keith Bryan, Christopher 
Yanez, Adam Yanez, Patrick Yanez, Shane Yanez and John Joseph Yanez.

A Joyful Mass of Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church by Father John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held today at 7 p.m. in the 
Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts.
