Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - September 22, 2007
NORFOLK - Catherine Marie Yarborough of the 5400 block of Barnhollow Road died 
Sept. 18, 2007, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Born in Hopewell, Va., 
she retired as an X-ray technician from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after 
29 years of service. She was a deaconess and member of missionary at First 
Baptist Bute Street. 

Survivors include her husband, William Yarborough ; daughter, Natalie 
Yarborough , both of Norfolk; two sons, Paul Yarborough of North Carolina and 
Kenneth Yarborough of Norfolk; two brothers, Pernell Harris of Kentucky and 
Ferman Covington of Norfolk; one grandchild, Rueben Rivera; and a host of 
other relatives and friends. 

A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Bute Street by Dr. 
Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The remains will be 
ready for viewing Sunday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. in Carlos A. Howard Funeral 
Homes, Norfolk Chapel. The family will assemble at the residence at 12:30 p.m. 
for the procession. The remains will be placed in church at 10 a.m.
