Funeral services for James Yarbrough, who died at 1217 E. Olney road, Norfolk,
on Nov. 29, were held on Dec. 5 at 1:15 p.m., at Riddick’s Funeral Chapel. Dr.
J. B. Henderson, pastor of Bank Street Baptist Church, officiated. Mr. Yarbrough
was born in Surry County, VA, but had lived in Norfolk a number of years.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Willie Yarbrough; one daughter, Mrs. Julia
Shorter; one son, James Yarbrough; three grandchildren, and other relatives.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick’s Funeral Service in charge.
