Norfolk - Mrs. Margaret B. Yates, 59, of 718 Clay avenue, who died March 26 in a 
hospital, received final rites Sunday in Morning Glory Funeral Home.  Burial was 
in Calvary Cemetery.

A member of Franktown AME Church, Mrs. Yates was a native of Northampton County.  
She was the daughter of John H. Beckett and Mrs. Virginia T. Beckett and the 
wife of Robert Yates.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Patterson and Mrs. Alice R. 
Anderson of Norfolk;  and three brothers, William A. and Smith Beckett of 
Norfolk and John A. Beckett of Northampton County.
