She was a resident of [] Grayson St., Berkley, and had been a resident of this section for 50 years. She was a native of Lithuania and came to this country 71 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rebecca Salsbury and the wife of the late Julius Yavner. Mrs. Yavner was a member of the Mikro Kodesh Congregation and was affiliated with the Berkley Hebrew Ladies Aid Society. She is survived by three sons, Nathan A. Yavner, Meyer Yavner and Moses Yavner; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Goodman, Mrs. Charles Andelman and Mrs. Raymond Cohen; one sister, Mrs. M. A. Glasser, all of Norfolk; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home from which funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mikro Kodesh Cemetery, Berkley Ave. Extended.
