Virginian-Pilot, 9-13-1980
NORFOLK - Moses Yavner, 79, of [], a retired 34-year Civil Service employee of 
Norfolk Naval Shipyard, died Friday in his home. He was born in Baltimore. He 
was a member of B'nai Israel Congregation, Brith Sholom, and Tidewater Ostomy 
Association. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Fannie (sic) Andelman of 
Pittsburgh, Pa.; and nieces and nephews. The body was taken to H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments. The family will be at his home. A funeral will be held 
Sunday at 1 p.m. in Mikro Kodesh Cemetery by Rabbi Israel Bornstein. The 
family asks that flowers be omitted.
