NORFOLK - Meyer A. Yavner, 80, a native of Baltimore who lived in Norfolk a 
number of years, died Sunday in his home. A retired merchant, he was a member 
of B'Nai Israel Congregation, Brith Sholom, and Berkley Masonic Lodge. 
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Fannie (sic) Andelman of Pittsburgh; and a 
brother, Moses Yavner of Norfolk. A funeral will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. 
in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, by Rabbi Israel Bornstein. Burial 
will be in Mikro Kodesh Cemetery.
