The Rev. James R. Johnson Jr. will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Yeargins, a beautician for over 40 years, had become widely known in Norfolk for her interest in civic work. In 1951 she was honored by the Negro Beauticians of Virginia and in 1953 the Alpha Chi Chapter of the Iota Phi Lambda sorority honored her for her service to the community. Mrs. Yeargins was also active in the work of Camp E. W. Young. Mrs. Yeargins was a native of Portsmouth, Ohio, but had lived in Norfolk for some 52 years. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Jessie B. Jones, Cleveland; two nephews, Richard Boyd and Ralph Boyd, Norfolk; and a niece, Miss Dorothy Boyer, Columbus, Ohio.
