Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 14, 1924

Mrs. Catherine Mehegan Young died yesterday morning at 2:30 o'clock at her home, 
17 Fontainbleau Crescent, Lafayette Residence Park. She is survived by three 
daughters, Mrs. James A. Brennan, of El Paso; Mrs. John E. Tethers, of St. Louis 
and Miss Cecilia L. Young, of Norfolk; four sons, John, Richard and Charles 
Young, of Norfolk and Mark Young, of New York; two sisters, Misses Mary and 
Nellie Mehegan, of Norfolk and one brother, W.A. Mehegan, of Washington, D.C., 
and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Monday 
at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Lafayette Residence Park, Thursday, November 13th, 1924, at 2:30 o'clock a.m., 
CATHERINE MEHEGAN, widow of Walter J. Young and daughter of the late William A. 
and Ellen Nunan Mehegan, in the 66th year of her age.
Funeral services at St. Mary's Catholic Church MONDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock.  
Friends of the family are invited to attend.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
