John J. and Anna Bullock Young, died at 1:45 o'clock this morning at the residence, 738 Boissevain Avenue. She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. Surviving her are a number of nieces and nephews, among them being Mrs. Fenton Gay Epling, of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Mrs. George J. Loupret, of Honolulu; Mrs. Jay Lewis and Miss Anna Bradford Young, of Norfolk. She was a sister of the late Congressman William A. Young. Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which she was a consistent member, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. *************************************************************************** MISS MARY PAULINE YOUNG - Funeral services for Miss Young, daughter of the late Capt. John J. and Anna Bullock Young, whose death occurred Tuesday morning at the residence, 738 Boissevain Avenue, were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. John C. Ryan officiating. The Rev. E. A. Brosnan and the Rev. P. P. Brennan were present in the sanctuary. Sermon was by the Rev. E. A. Brosnan who paid tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of purple asters, pink gladiolus and ferns. During the service, Mrs. S. A. Sutton sang "Abide With Me," with Mrs. C. R. Davies, organist. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were M. Daily Walsh, Rufus Kirn, Henry Kirn, Dr. H. W. Phillips, Keville Glennan, Otto Wells, M. J. Murphy and A. Plummer Pannill.
