Young Jr., aged 17 years, whose death, after an illness of six weeks of typhoid fever, occurred yesterday morning at 7:15 o'clock, will take place from St. Mary's Catholic Church this morning at 10 o'clock. Master Young was the son of Mr. William A. and Mrs. Helen Hay Young of this city, and was a youth whose manly qualities had endeared him to a large number of residents of this city and section, by whom his death is greatly regretted and whose sympathies go out to the bereaved family. While he had been critically ill for several weeks, there were periods when it was expected he would survive the illness, until a day or so before his death. Mr. and Mr. Young are among Norfolk's best known residents and their loss is generally mourned by all who know them. ******************************************************************************** YOUNG - On Tuesday, December 15, 1914, at 7:15 o'clock a.m., WILLIAM A.
