Harry Young, 70,  of 800 A avenue, custodian of the Van Wyck branch of the 
Norfolk Public Library, was given funeral rites on Saturday at St. John AME 
Church, where the Rev. W. L. Hildebrand officiated.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the B. F. King Funeral 
Home, which he served as an assistant in addition to his duties at the 
library.

A native of Norfolk, Mr. Young was the son of the late Harry and Alice 
Young.  He was a member of Eureka Lodge, the Knights of Pythias and St. John 
Church.  He had no near relatives.
