Mrs. Elizabeth Young of Portsmouth died Sunday, Aug. 18, in a local hospital.

She was a native of Norfolk County, VA, and the daughter of the late Isiah and 
Mrs. Elizabeth Connor.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 22, at Pretlow’s Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Willie E. Clarke officiated.

Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, James Young;  two sisters, Mrs. Alexina 
Tate of Norfolk and Miss Susie Connor of New York;  and one cousin, Mrs. Elsie 
D. Barnes of Portsmouth.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
