Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jan 20,1962
James H. Young, 60, of 3001 Hollister avenue, who died Jan. 13 in a local 
hospital, will receive final rites Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Graves Funeral Home.  
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

A native of Englehart, NC, Mr. Young lived in Norfolk more than 30 years.  He 
was employed by Buyrn-Old and Eaton, a hardware concern for more than 20 years.

Survivors include Mr. Young’s mother, Mrs. Carolina Brown;  two sisters, Mrs. 
Zilla Bryant and Mrs. Janie Spencer of Englehart;  seven brothers, Larry Young 
of Suffolk;  Clifton Young, Sam, Lynn, Early, Addison and Government Brown of 
Englehart.
