NORFOLK - George Young of 821 Goff St. died Wednesday in a hospital after a
short illness.
  A native of Renno SC, he was the husband of Mrs. Martha Young and a son of the
late Henry and Mrs. Laura Young.
  He was retired from Railroad Express Co.
  He was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church and Malodin Masonic Lodge 136.
  Besides his widow, surviving are three sons, Harvey Young of Hamlet NC, James
Young of Atlanta, and Claude Young of Hartford CT, and three grandchildren.
  A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in First Calvary Baptist
Church by the Rev. Frank P. Wise.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with
Citizens Funeral Home in charge.
