Chief of Police W. H. White, of Princess Anne County, said last night that a number of witnesses have been summoned for an inquest to be conducted at 5 o'clock Friday afternoon at the office of Dr. H. F. Dormire, county coroner. However, he added that no persons suspected of having started the fire have been taken into custody and no charges have been filed. RESIDENCE ALSO BURNED County Officer J. E. Moore, who was the first officer at the scene, said that the houseboat and a residence, about 200 yards away, were found burning at 1:15 a.m. by Henry Breathwaite, who notified Chief White. The house, which Moore said was the property of Breathwaite and occupied by Young, and the houseboat were still afire when the officer arrived, and Young's body was found lying near the door of the houseboat. He apparently had become overcome by flames and smoke as he was trying to get out, the officer commented. The houseboat, which Chief White said was occupied by Sidney Miller, was practically destroyed by the flames. In addition to Moore and the department chief, the tragedy was investigated by County Officer W. H. Cones. Young, son of the late Walter J. and Mrs. Catherine Mehegan Young, is survived by three sons, Joseph, John Anthony and Lynn A. Young of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Brennan of El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Cecelia Buffkin of Norfolk; three brothers, Richard N. Young of Roanoke; Charles D. Young of Norfolk; and Mark O. Young of New York, and an aunt, Miss Mary H. Mehegan of Norfolk. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to the HOly Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services at 10 o'clock Thursday morning. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
