Young-Taylor of the 3700 block of Bay Oaks Place, made a glorious transition on April 30, 2003. She was the beloved daughter of Marie G. Young and the late John C. Young and devoted sister of Antoinette G. Young. Ms. Young-Taylor was a systems analyst for Tidal Technologies and previously worked as a computer consultant for IBM, a supervisor for the Fraud Division of Norfolk Department of Social Services and a supervisor for the Richmond Department of Child Support Enforcement. She is also survived by an uncle, John A. Golden Jr.; aunts, Jean Golden, Hattie Artybridge, Cleo Artybridge, Gertrude Avery and Lucy Henderson; and a score of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Oakwood Chapel Church Disciples of Christ, 982 Avenue E, Norfolk, with Dr. Charles F. McKeller officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakwood Chapel Church, Disciples of Christ, 982 Avenue E, Norfolk, VA 23513 or to Union Mission Ministries, P.O. Box 3203, Norfolk VA 23514. P.G.
