Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - February 27, 1992
Ruby Hillman Zaba, 77, of the 700 block of Shirley Ave., a retired branch 
secretary, died Feb. 26, 1992, in her home. 
Mrs. Zaba was born in Portsmouth. She had retired from Pitney Bowes Corp. after 
22 years. She was the widow of Benjamin H. Zaba and was a member of Ohef Sholom 
Temple. 
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Aftel, and a son, Dr. Joel Zaba, both of 
Norfolk; and two grand-children. 
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. Burial will be in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 741 Shirley Ave. 
Memorial donations may be made to Jewish Family Service of Tidewater.
