A native of Russia, Mr. Zedd was the son of the Robert and Mrs. Sarah Zedd. He took a prominent part in the affairs of Berkley and of Mikro Kodesh Synagogue. Besides his wife, Mrs. Fannie Salsbury Zedd, he is survived by five sons, Ben, Nathan, Dr. Maxwell, Raymond and Stanley Zedd; four daughters, Mrs. T. L. Amelson, Mrs. Louis Spector, and Mrs. Louis Kootner, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Milton Perel of Richmond; a sister Mrs. Celia Roseman of Norfolk; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. Interment will be in the Hebrew Cemetery, Berkley avenue extended.
