Virginian-Pilot, April 25, 1953
Mrs. Fannie Salsbury Zedd, widow of Abraham Zedd, died yesterday at 3 a.m. at 
a Norfolk hospital. She was a native of Europe and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for many years, residing at [] at the time of her death.

Surviving are five sons, Ben, Nat and Maxwell Zedd, of Norfolk, and Raymond 
and Stanley Zedd, of Portsmouth; four daughters, Mrs. Sarah Amelson, Mrs. 
Byrdie Spector and Mrs. Rita Kootner, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Ruth Perel, of 
Richmond; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. 
Yavner and Mrs. Moses Glasser, both of Norfolk; and three brothers, Moses, 
Robert and Simon Salsbury of Norfolk.

Services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 
noon by Rabbi Paul Reich, of Beth El Temple, Rabbis Isaac Flam and Cantor 
Sack, of the Mikro Kodesh Synagogue.

Burial will be in the Mikro Kodesh Cemetery.
