She was predeceased by her husband, Nathan Zedd. Born in Lithuania, she immigrated to the United States in 1921. She and her husband lived in Berkley for several years, operating an ice cream store and then a men's clothing store. She was a member of B'nai Israel Synagogue and a member of the B'nai Israel sisterhood. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Katz and her husband, Norman Katz, and Sue Ann Zedd; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Katz and his wife, Lisa, of Livingston, N.J., and Dr. Teri Katz of Gainesville, Fla.; a great- granddaughter, Rachel Katz; a sister, Tillie Gordon and her husband, Ira, of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Gerald Gordon and his wife, Adeline, of Chestnut Hill, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mikro Kodesh Cemetery by Rabbi Josef Friedman, Rabbi Michael Panitz and Cantor Elihu Flax. The family will gather at the home of Pauline and Norman Katz, []. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Beth Sholom Home of Eastern Virginia, Virginia Beach, or a charity of the donor's choice. H.D.
