NORFOLK - Sam Zedd, 87, of [], retired owner of Zedd Grocery Store, now known 
as A & B Market, died Friday in a hospital.

He was the husband of the late Mrs. Celia Zedd and the son of Mr. Zedd and 
Mrs. Rose Zedd. A native of Lithuania, he lived here 74 years. He was a member 
of B'nai Israel Temple.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ann Katz of Arlington, Mrs. Bessie King of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. Rose Norad of Hampton; three sons, Sidney Zedd, Benny Zedd 
and Stanley Zedd of Norfolk; three sisters Mrs. Mollie Weinstein, Mrs. Becky 
Batleman, and Mrs. Lena Cohen, all of Norfolk; and two brothers, Harry Zedd 
and Joe Zedd of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Sunday at 
11 a.m. by Rabbi Israel Bornstein.

Burial will be in Mikro Kodesh Cemetery.

The family suggests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to a 
favorite charity. The family will be at [].
