Virginian Pilot March 23, 1973

Mrs. Mildred Zelk of 213 Amsterdam Ave., the wife of Jimmy Zelk, died Tuesday in 
Bellevue Hospital, New York.
A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Richard Merchant and Mrs. 
Lucress Sparrow.
Besides her husband, surviving are a brother, Milton Merchant and two sisters,, 
Miss Margaret Merchant and Mrs. Dorothy Rayner, all of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
