Virginian Pilot January 26, 1905

Daniel Zimmer, well and favorably known, died at the home of his son, W.F. 
Zimmer, in Seaboard avenue, South Norfolk, yesterday afternoon at 1:20 
o'clock in the 74th year of his age.
Death was the result of heart failure and the end came without a moment's 
warning.  He had stooped forward to adjust his shoes and passed away in this 
position.
He is survived by ten children, four of whom reside in South Norfolk.  The 
other six reside in Baltimore.  The deceased was a native of Baltimore till 
about five years ago, when he moved to South Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence Friday morning at 10 
o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of the late Daniel Zimmer, who died at the home of his son, W.F. 
Zimmer, Wednesday afternoon, will be conducted from the residence this 
afternoon at 1 o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Rev. 
V.W. Bargamin, pastor of liberty Street M.E. Church, will officiate.

The funeral of the late Daniel Zimmer, who died at the home of his son, W.F. 
Zimmer, in Seaboard avenue, South Norfolk, Wednesday, was conducted from the 
residence yesterday afternoon, Rev. V.W. Bargamin, pastor of Liberty Street 
M.E. Church, officiating.
All the sons and daughter of the deceased have arrived here from Baltimore, 
Md., Pittsburg, Pa., and were in attendance at the funeral.  The attendance 
was quite large.
The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
