Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 6, 1916

Mrs. Lena Zimmer, widow of Daniel Zimmer and mother of W.F. Zimmer, a former 
resident of South Norfolk, died Friday in Baltimore.  A telegram conveying 
the information was received here yesterday by relatives.  The remains will 
arrive here Monday morning for funeral and interment, the time of which will 
be announced later.

The body of Mrs. Lena Zimmer, widow of Daniel Zimmer, who died in Baltimore 
last Friday, arrived here yesterday morning for burial, which took place in 
Magnolia Cemetery yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock.  The funeral services 
were conducted by Rev. R.N. Hartness, pastor of the Liberty Street Methodist 
Church.  There were in attendance quite a number of the friends of the 
deceased and the floral tributes were beautiful.
