MRS. NELLIE K. ZOBY, 75, NORFOLK CATHOLIC LEADER

NORFOLK - Mrs. Nellie Kayatt Zoby, 75, of 4115 Killam Ave., a Norfolk Catholic 
leader, died Thursday in a hospital.

A resident of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Andrew and Mrs. Mary Kayatt and the 
widow of Thomas Zoby.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Christ Child Circle, Block 
Rosary Club, Lebanese Womans Club, and Basilica of St. Anne Grandmothers Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. D. L. Garcia and Mrs. Davis Schwartz of 
Norfolk; four sons, Joseph T. Zoby, George P. Zoby, Leo T. Zoby, and Andrew T. 
Zoby of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Cora Abraham of Richmond; 12 grandchildren and 
six great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, where the Rosary will be 
recited tonight at 7:30.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Chapel, 37th Street and Colley Avenue.  Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.

The family will be at 4114 Killam Ave.
