Leo Thomas Zoby Jr., 58, died June 3, 1999, in a Richmond hospital.

Mr. Zoby was born in Norfolk and was the son of Virginia M. Zoby and the late 
L.T. Zoby Sr. Leo attended Old Dominion University and Belmont Abbey, where he 
was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. A third-generation master plumber, he served 
as president of L.T. Zoby Jr. Inc., vice president of Pittman Mechanical 
Contractors Inc. and chairman of ZBZ & Associates Inc. He coached the West End 
Dukes football team in Norfolk for several years and was a member of the Knights 
of Columbus.

Survivors include his sons, Paul A. Zoby and his wife, Elizabeth, D. Christopher 
and his wife, Jessica; his daughter, L. Kimberly Terry and her husband, Thomas; 
five grandchildren, Evan, Cheyenna, Benjamin, Daisey and Paul Jr.; a brother, 
Ronald A. Zoby and his wife, Jarrett; three sisters, Joan and her husband, Warren 
Christie, Anne and Barbara.

A Christian wake service will be held today at 7 p.m. in the Norfolk Chapel of 
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. by Father Edward Richardson. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Father Jay 
Wagner. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, 
memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Transplant Center, 1602 Skipwith 
Road, Richmond VA 23229.
