Virginian-Pilot  July 31, 1933
JOHN ZOBY, a native of Syria and a well-known resident of Norfolk for the past 20 
years, died yesterday morning.  He is survived by one brother, Ellis Zoby, of 
Washington, D. C.

Services will be held at H. D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason 
Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, pastor of 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, of which Mr. Zoby was a member, officiating.  
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
