FRANCIS G. ZOBY

NORFOLK - Francis George Zoby, 46, of 3512 Tidewater Drive, husband of Mrs. Addie 
Pauline Elkins Zoby and son of Joseph G. and Mrs. Annie Kayatt Zoby, died in a 
hospital Monday at 8:30 p.m.

A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was an aviation metalsmith in the Overhaul and 
Repair Department of Norfolk Naval Air Station.  He was a member of Christ the 
King Catholic Church.  He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Besides his widow, he is survived by three daughters, Misses Mary Ann Zoby, 
Catherine Marie Zoby and Barbara Diane Zoby; a son, Francis George Zoby Jr.; two 
sisters, Mrs. George Ackaway and Mrs. C. S. Wjhite Sr.; and four brothers, Ernest 
G. Zoby, William A. Zoby, George M. Zoby and Joseph G. Zoby Jr., all of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be conducted in Christ the King Catholic Church Wednesday 
at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  The Rosary will be recited in 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, tonight at 7:30.
