Whiteman, wife of Mr. Charles F. Whiteman, departed this life at her home on Forty-first street, at 12:30 p.m. yesterday after an illness of several weeks from typhoid fever, in the 40th year of her age. She leaves three sons and three interesting daughters to mourn her loss. The funeral will take place from the residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon. ******************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Whiteman, who died at her home at this place Wednesday, was conducted at the residence yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. J.W. Carroll, pastor of the Lambert's Point M.E. Church, assisted by Rev. E.L. Cox. The pallbearers were the following gentlemen: Messrs. Chas. Mayo, H.S. Cooper, B.Boyd, G. Elliott, C. Moore and T. Tomilson.
