Will of John Daughity
Written: 10 Jan 1795 - Proved 12 Dec 1806
Northumberland County, Va.
Record Book 19, page 73

In the name of God Amen, I John Daughity of North. County and Parish of St. 
Stephens being in perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last 
will and testament in manner for form following (to wit).
Item. I give and bequeath to my son James Daughity and his heirs and assigns 
forever, the land whereon I now live.
Item. I give and bequeath to my sons William and James Daughity my personal 
estate to be divided equally between them.
Item. I leave William and James Hudnall my whole and sole executors of this 
last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand 
and affixed my seal this 10th day of January 1795.

At a court of monthly session held for Northumberland County at the 
Courthouse on Monday, the 12th of December 1806. James Hudnall relinquished 
his right of executorship of the within will of John Daughety decd. 
Whereupon the same was proved by the oath of the said James Hudnall who also 
made oath that the name of Wm. Hudnall subscribed to the said will, and who 
is since dead, was subscribed by the said William in his presence whereupon 
the same is ordered to be recorded.
