I give and bequeath the same in Manner following that is to say Imprimis. I desire that all my Just debts and funeral expences to be paid. Item. I give to my son Isaac Hurst the land whereon I now live, to him and his heirs forever. Item. I give to my Grand daughter Sally H. Crowder one half of all my estate, that is goods and chattels to her and her heirs forever. Item. the other half or balance of my estate, I desire may be equally divided among my several other grand children, which I give to them and their heirs forever. And Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my Daughter Elizabeth Crowder executrix and my friend David Ball, Junr. executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former Wills or testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 29th day of December in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and four. Gaskins At a Court of Monthly session held for Northumberland County at the Courthouse on Monday the 9th of December 1805. This last will & testament of Winnifred Hurst dec.d was proved by the oaths of Thomas Gaskins and Richard H. Gaskins witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. Elizabeth Crowder & David Ball jr. the executors therein named relinquished their right of executor ship, and on the Motion of Elizabeth Crowder & Opie Beane a certificate is granted them for obtaining letters of administration of the estate of the said deceased with her said will annexed, they having taken the oath of administrators with the will annexed, and together with Thomas Hurst & David Ball Jun.r their securities entered into & acknowledged a Bond in the penalty of two thousand Dollars, conditioned as the law directs.
