First I lave to my son John N. Hurst the plantation whereon I now live, that I bought of Ana Gordon. also I leave to my said son Jno. N. Hurst the plantation I bought of Clsa (?) Rogers on the Herrin Creek, but in case my sd. son Jno. N. Hurst should died with out lawfull Heir I give the sd. two plantations to my Daughter Elizabeth H. Hurst also I give to my son John N. Hurst one desk one large Bible one silver watch to him and to his heirs forever 2ndly I leave to my daughter Eliz.a H. Hurst the plantation I bought of Lucy Hudnall Containing one hundred and ten acres, but in case my son John N. Hurst [sic] should die without lawfull heir I give the sd. plantation that I bought of Lucy Hudnall to my daughter Susanna Hurst to her and to her heirs forever. 3rdly I give to my daughter Susanna Hurst the plantation that I bought of Winnefred Webb, containing one hundred and ten acres, but in case that either of my sd. Daughters should die without lawfull heirs my Will and desire is that the Land above given shall descend to the survir [sic] to them & to their heirs. 4thly I leave to Joseph Richardson and Noah Richardson a support out of my Estate until they are old enough to be bound out. 5hly all the remainder part of my estate I leave to my three children John n. Hurst, Eliz.a H. Hurst & Susannah Hurst to be equally divided between them after my Just debts is paid. Lastly I nominate and appoint my friends Royston B. Covington, Wm. Hudnall, Samuel Beachwell & Thos. Harvey Executors of this my last will renouncing all other former wills, in testimoney [sic] whereof I have set my hand and seal this 15th day of October 1811. This last Will and Testament of John Hurst deceased was proved by the oaths of Royston B. Covington and Thos. Betts two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded the said Jon B.
