Jacob Stribling, OC Bond: Know all Men by these Presents, That we, Isaac Ramsbtoom and Joseph Ramsbottom are held and firly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 8th day of March, A.D. 1847. The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas a marriage is shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Isaac Ramsbottom, son of the above bound Joseph, and Jane E. Chrisman of Albemarle County. If, therefore, there shall be no lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage, then the obligation to be void - otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
