The following records were copied from an old leather bound Bible published in Philadelphia for Matthew Carey, on Market St in the year 1801. This is the property of Mrs. Sally Branham Mitche. Marriages: Ludlow Branham and Sarah Michie was arried December 26 1797, buy the Reverend M. Maury at the house of Elizabeth Ragland. Matthew Michie and Sarah Meade was married August 27 1812 by the Reverend John Lastley at the house of Ludlow Bramham. George H. Crank and Elizabeth W. Bramham was married January 10, 1827 by the Reverend George Morris. Births: Ludlow Bramham was born April 26, 1766 Sarah Michie Bramham was born July 15 1776 Their children were as follows Bushrod Washington Bramham born March 1, 1800 Elizabeth Watson Bramham " April 3, 1803 James Michie Bramham " Sept 7, 1805 Louisa Ann Bramham " Sept 12, 1807 William Woodford Bramham " Sept 3, 1809 Carolina Francis Bramham " May 18, 1812 Mary Marks Bramham " Jan 24, 1813 Harriet Bramham " Aug 10, 1814 John Luther Bramham " Sept 16, 1819 George Henry Bramham " Jan 16 1822 DEATHS: Ludlow Bramham died Tuesday, July 1st, 1831 Age 64 years, 10m, and 4 days. Interred at his residence, Boswell's in Louisa County. William Woodford Bramham died 13th of Dec 1830 Luisa Ann Bramham " 20th of July 1842 age 34 Mary Marks Bramham " 15th Aug, 1842 [unknown note(These two sisters died within a month of each other with typhoid fever)] Bushrod W. Branham died 18th of Aug., 1855 John Bramham, aged about 72 years, departed this life on Saturday, the 25th day of July 1761, aobut 6 o'clock in the afternoon. In the burial place called the Old Court House, in Orange County. Rachel Bramham (Sisson) Relic of the above John Bramham, departed this life April 6th 1782. Was interred the Monday after at Charles Porter's, her former dwelling place, called "The Old Court House", in Orange County. John Bramham, son to the Elder, departed this life the 17th day of January 1785, about 10 o'clock at night. Age fifty-eight years. Was interred at the burying place of his ancestors, "The Old Court House. Nelly Sisson, wife of Caleb Sisson, departed this life on Thursday the 22nd of September, 1774. Interred at dwelling place of John Thelban, formerly her grandfather John Marks residence.
