Honorias Powell There seem to have been 3 or 4 men by this name. I assume they were father, son, grandson, but I have not attempted to straighten it out yet. I also have not quite yet documented the connection between Powells and Shifflets. Darwin Lambert states that Turner Shiflett’s grandfather was Honorias Powell. The Undying Past of Shenandoah National Park ,p. 284. According to Albemarle County, Va., Marriage Records, Turner’s wife, Milly, was HP’s daughter.
