The case is too terrible to dwell upon. Herndon remains in Jail, and is said by those who have visited him to be very cool and confident. His trial will take place in August. We are told that Mrs. Herndon has been confined since her husband's incarceration. A few nights ago, he tried to break jail, but was frustrated.
