From the Virginia Herald Newspaper Published in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania County, Virginia June 14, 1817 At a Quarterly Court, continued and held for Orange County, at the Court- house, on Tuesday, the 27th of May 1817. Ambrose Lee, Plaintiff, against Milley Lee, widow of John Lee, deceased, Richard Lee, Zachariah Lee, William Dodd and Susan his wife, late Susan Lee, James Lee, Betsy Lee, William Lee, Samuel Lee, Lucy Lee, Abner Lee and Sarah his wife, late Sarah Lee, which said Richard, Zachariah, Susan, James, Betsy, William, Samuel, Lucy and Sarah are children and heirs at law of John Lee, deceased, and William White, late Sheriff of Orange county to whom was committed the Estate of the said John Lee, deceased, Defendants IN CHANCERY The Defendants Richard Lee, Zachariah Lee, William Dodd and Susan his wife, late Susan Lee, and James Lee, not having entered their appearance and given security according to the Act of Assembly and the Rules of this Court, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that they are not inhabitants of this commonwealth, on the motion of the plaintiff by his counsel, it is ordered: That the said defendants Richard Lee, Zachariah Lee, William Dodd and Susan his wife, late Susan Lee, and James Lee, do appear here on the fourth Monday in August next and answer the bill of the Complainants and that a copy of this Order be forthwith inserted in the Virginia Herald, printed in Fredericksburg, for two months successively, and posted at the front door of the Court-house of this county.
