In addition to the murder of Miss Lumsden, Mrs. Bull has been robbed, 11 pieces of meat have been stolen from Dr. Peyton Grimes, 3 sheep stolen and five maimed, and the new smokehouse at Mr. G.R. Waugh, who lives below Unionville, has been burnt, causing the loss of all of his meat and all of his bees. If these things continue, the people of Orange must form Vigilante Committees for their own protection.
