The recent tragedy in Alexandria has yet a deeper shade cast upon it. -Mrs. 
Susanna Duffey, the sister of Miss Schaffer, whole melancholly death was recorded 
on Monday, died Tuesday from the effects produced upon her by the later lamentable 
events. Mrs. Duffey, was ill at the time of the accident but would have probably 
have been well for the shock which ensued after the recital of her sister's death.

Young Tennisons's body was committed to the dust alongside that of his betrothed 
Tuesday afternoon, his funeral largely attended by masons, firemen and the 
community generally.
