When found the body was tied by one foot, with a handkerchief to a bush on the river bank. He was last seen alive about ten o'clock Saturday morning. sitting on the railroad track near that place. He lived with his daughters at Shadwell, Mr. McLean was quite an old man, and well known as a bricklayer, in the neighborhood of Shadwell and Milton where he had lived for many years. He was a native of Baltimore city, we believe. He was in bad circumstances and bad spirits, and the probability is that he drowned himself. -Charlottesville Chronicle.
