Native Virginian 10 Jan 1868
Died. - In this place, on the 30th of December, in the 80th year of her age, Nancy 
Moore, the beloved and faithful family servant of Mr. R.M. Chapman. 

Three generations praise her and acknowledge her unchanging fidelity and tender 
care for those she fondly and proudly called "her children." Each member of her 
master's household found a place in her heart even unto the end.
