First of all I desire to be buried in a Christian like manner according as my executors directs. Secondly I desire all my debts should be paid by my executors herein after named. Thirdly I give and bequeath to my son William Bradley all my land bounded by Henry Wood's line, Wm. Moore, Wm. Lindsey and the new road. To him and his heirs forever one great pot and hooks and all that belongs to it, one cow and calf to him and his heirs forever and after my wife's deceased, one feather bed and furniture to him and his heirs forever; after my wife's deceased. I give to my son James Bradley one shilling sterling to him and his heirs forever. I give and bequeath to my son John and Lawrence Bradley one shilling sterling to each of them and theirs forever. I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliz. H. Dear one feather bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever and after my wife's deceased. My will and desire is the remainder part of my estate shall be equally divided between William Bradley and Ann Shurley to them and their heirs forever. Also I give and bequeath to Thomas Dear all the land above the said road excepting the spring and ten yards wide from the road to the spring for a path to the said spring to him and his heirs forever. Lastly I constitute and appoint William Bradley and James Smith executors of this my last will and testament revoking all other wills heretofore made by me. In witness I have set my hand and seal this third day of October one thousand seven hundred and eighty five. Signed sealed and delivered In the presence of Jeremiah Chandler Richard (his mark) Bradley Menry Mallory Lucy Mallory At a court held for Orange County on Thursday the 22nd of Dec. 1785 This last will and testement of Richard Dec'd was returned into court by William Bradley and James Smith executors therein named and proved by the oaths of Jeremiah Chandler and Lucy Mallory two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be record of and on the motion of the said executors who made oath according to law. Certificates granted them for obtaining probate thereof in due form they giving bond for the same whereupon they with Robert Thomas and Reuben Land__son their securities entered into and acknowledged their bond for the same in the sum of two hundred pounds.
