Page County, Virginia DATE: 1802, date of oldest inscription. OWNERS: It is now owned by Daniel Nibler. (1936) DESCRIPTION: This is a private graveyard in an open field, surrounded by a wire fence in good condition, with a wooden arched gate. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Christian Bumgardner died 1855 age 87 Y. Nancy Bumgardner born October 2nd 1792 died January 1802 8 child Joseph Bumgardner born 30 March 1818 died 25 Aug. 182_ An Infant Daughter born June 1836 died the 7 day September 10th child Elizabeth Crawford died Sept. 27th 1827 aged 25 years and 10 days An Infant Daughter 2 child born 21 Jan. 1821 died the 17th day not named An Infant Son #3 child born March 1822 & died the 17 day not named A. D. ___ Bumgardner born May 2 1827 died March 31, 1842 First Child Susanah Bumgardner born April the 25, 1819 died August 23, 1828 Joseph E. Bumgardner died February 1st 1863 aged 1 year, 3 M and 3 days There are other graves, some with dates after 1860 and some with no inscriptions.
